How will PACE benefit the animals?

DSC_flag_sliderNov2012_shorter It takes a minimum of $1,500 a year to take care of a single donkey and provide shelter, food as well as cover basic medical expenses.

We often take in donkeys who have been severely abused or neglected and they can require longer-term veterinary, farrier and other care.

Donkeys can live to be as old as 50 or older in captivity. Providing them a lifelong home is not a short-term proposition.

All profit from this event goes directly into donkey care: hay, straw, vet, farrier, facilities.

Here (below) are just a few of the animals you will help with the PACE for the Donkeys 5K.
